BIOS Configuration

Steps

F10 (Open Setup)

  • Security
    • Create BIOS Administrator Password → Set password
  • Advanced
    • Boot Options
      • USB Storage Boot → Disabled
      • Fast Boot → Disabled (disturbs network boot)
      • Audio Alerts During Boot → Disabled (very noisy)
    • HP Sure Recover
      • HP Sure Recover → Disabled (tries to restore Windows)
    • Secure Boot Configuration
      • Configure Legacy Support and Secure Boot → «Legacy Support Disable and Secure Boot Disable» (TODO: use Secure Boot)

F10 → Yes (Save changes & Reboot)
